Once you have successfully jailbroken your iPod or iPhone. You will have an app titles "Cydia."
Now, what might this do? No, its not a game. Or any other single use app. It has literally thousands of uses. The first time you open it a few option will be displayed. Read over them and choose which one you want to select. Then another pop up will appear, with this one i would suggest upgrading all, as it will improve all of it.
Once you are through the whole first opening process, you arrive at the meat of the application. Here you can do lots of things. I would suggest looking through through the Cydia tab up top, or doing some research on what to download, how to use it, etc. Or if you prefer to tinker with it, go right ahead. But don't change any settings until you know what they mean and do.
